Join The First Meeting of CPUGI

For many vendors in the IT space there has been a high demand in recent years to connect more with their end users directly in order to strengthen their relationships, keep them up to date with the latest news, and get their feedback on a more regular basis. We have seen this happen in Ireland with a number of companies over the last few years, including the Citrix User Group Community, the Hadoop User Group, and Arista Networks’ Software Defined Networking Meetup to name but a few of those operating in Ireland today.

Not one to be left behind, the Check Point User Group Ireland or CPUGI has now been set up by Hugh McGauran and Stewart Main for the Irish end user community. Both well-established Check Point Software experts, Hugh and Stewart are looking to make the CPUGI a place where all Irish Check Point users can come together to learn from each others experiences, while getting the chance to give feedback and get help from the experts at Check Point directly.

This Tuesday evening marks the first meeting of CPUGI in The Morgan hotel in Dublin. Along with Hugh and Stewart, a number of Check Point SE’s will be in attendance to help answer any questions that people may have. Running from 18:30 to 20:30, the first CPUGI will cover a technical overview of R80, and an AMA (ask me anything) on all things Check Point, followed by drinks in the hotel bar for all attendees. You can register for the event now at

To keep up to date with the most recent news on the CPUGI and to register to attend future meetings, please join both the Meetup and LinkedIn groups.
